Gateway STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) High School, recognized by the United States Department of Education as a New American High School, integrates a strong academic curriculum emphasizing mathematics and science with career preparation in highly technical fields. Accelerated and advanced placement courses are available. Gateway STEM creates lifelong learners through skill building, team building, real-life applications, and service to the community.

The goals of the Gateway STEM entrance requirements focus on creating an environment that fosters high achievement STEM programs.
Student must have an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math and select and follow one of our STEM majors.
Student must submit previous year’s transcript or report card and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
Student must submit previous year’s attendance. Based on 174 days of school, student must have at least 90% attendance rate
Student must submit a copy of previous year’s discipline profile.
All accepted students are expected to attend Gateway’s 9th grade orientation, pre-registration and be present on the first day.
