Carr Lane VPA offers drama, dance, vocal and band, orchestra, mass media, harp, and art. Our students have exposure to the fine arts every day as part of the curriculum to enhance the practical application of core subjects. Many of the students are involved in Instructional Support Programs and community activities that en­hance his/her area of major study, such as: E. Desmond Lee Fine Arts Education Collaborative, St. Louis Art Museum; Black Repertory Theater; Opera Theater of Saint Louis; Sheldon Theater; The Repertory Theater; Fox Theater; St. Louis Symphony; Washington University; University of Missouri - St. Louis; Dance St. Louis; COCA; and Southeast Missouri State University.
