Stix serves as an Early Childhood Center and operates under the instructional methodology of Project Construct. Project Construct offers students "hands-on, minds-on" experiences to attain deep understandings in the core content areas, while they also learn to work collaboratively with adults and peers and to be lifelong problem solvers.

Stix 2nd grade graduates are automatically assigned to Humboldt Academy of Higher Learning for 3rd grade.
