Information sent to applicants stating a child is "Placement Eligible" does not indicate a seat to the requested school has been offered, or that an applicant has been accepted to attend the requested school. "Placement Eligible" status means the student has met the criteria for determination of eligibility to attend the school requested.
Applicants must have placement requests "Submitted" and be considered "Lottery Eligible" and "Placement Eligible" to be fully accepted to enroll at a school requested. Prior to determination of "Placement Eligibility", your child may be added to the Accepted List in the Pool A or Pool B Placement Lottery, PENDING DETERMINATION OF ELIGIBILITY. This means a seat is held for your child until residency verification is provided and/or the school or Gifted Office determines if the applicant meets the school criteria for acceptance.
Requirements must be met to be eligible for admission. The following items must be submitted to and reviewed by Central VPAHS Staff to determine eligibility.
Other documents including standardized test scores and/or requests for interviews and/or auditions may be required for Placement Eligibility Determination.
